How We Make Your Blinds
Here at Vertical Blinds Slats we only use the most modern and effective manufacturing techniques for our vertical blinds. Gone are the days of unsightly loose threads and pin holes of sewn blinds, the latest in blind manufacturing technology is used, all our blinds are sealed together using ultra sonic welding!
Cleaner and Seamless Appearance:
Welding creates a seamless and clean appearance on the blinds because there are no visible stitches or seams. This can result in a more modern and polished look.
Durability:
Welded seams are often more durable than sewn seams. The fusion of materials through welding can create a stronger bond, reducing the likelihood of fraying or separation over time.
Water Resistance:
Welded seams can be more water-resistant compared to sewn seams. The melted or fused materials in welding can create a more impervious barrier against moisture, making the blinds more resistant to water damage.
Light Blocking:
Welded seams can contribute to better light-blocking capabilities. The absence of stitches means fewer potential areas for light to penetrate through the blinds, resulting in improved light control.
Faster Production:
Welding processes can be more automated, leading to faster production times. This efficiency is particularly beneficial in large-scale manufacturing where speed is crucial.
Precision is key!
Here at Vertical Blinds Slats - We only use the most precise manufacturing and fabric cutting techniques. Our machines are accurate to +/-3mm which is more accurate than those made exclusively by hand. As well as being significantly faster, meaning you'll be waiting a lot less time for your new blinds to be hanging in your window!
